Secondary

We provide a mixture of tailored programmes and Antarctica school projects for secondary schools, so please get in touch to discuss your specific requirements. We also provide resources for assemblies, enterprise days and conferences.

Assemblies

We can provide an insightful assembly presentation to the whole school, year group or individual class. This can include a Q&A session and will involve videos and photographs of the explorer’s expedition. The day as follows, can then be entirely tailored to meet your school’s needs.

Topics range from building a glacier through to planning your own expedition, to looking at the evolution of animals and how animals adapted to survive the cold environment.

Enterprise Day

Utilising a whole day to plan an expedition to the Arctic/Antarctic.

In this Antarctica school projects, students have to plan in groups where their expeditions will take place and what they will need. They will then allocate a budget to the cost of the there expedition and seek to raise investment with various companies (ETE Staff members).

After the day of activities each group will present to the rest of the year and one group will be chosen as the most successful expedition group.

This day promotes key skills such as confidence, communication, employability and teamwork.

Conferences

ETE has always love to be a part of conferences engaging with students and teacher’s a like. We have taken part at the Big Bang, Edfest Southwest and EAS conferences.

Awards nights and Keynotes speakers
Antony and the team have taken part and delivered multiple award night ceremonies and keynote speaker events. For more information on this please do not hesitate to get in contact.
